The Message Hub provides message routing between applications.
Applications send messages containing small or large amounts of data to other applications. If the destination application is not connected to the hub at the time the message is sent by the sender, the message will be stored by the hub and sent to the destination application when it next connects.
The SMPP protocol (v3.4 and v5) is used by applications to access Message Hub to send and receive messages.
